Editorial review

GIU's "Acid" does exactly what the title promises: a rolling 303 line cuts through an uncompromisingly straight foundation. The arrangement avoids surprises, relying instead on hypnotic repetition and deliberate filter movements that maintain tension across six minutes. Virgin Music (S&D) times the late July 2026 release perfectly for festival season — paced for 130–135 BPM sets where it bridges driving techno and harder acid incursions. Sitting at #36 in the Deezer Techno chart confirms club viability without hype. Not a masterpiece, but a reliable tool.
