Editorial review
KASIA's 'Simulate' reaches #8 on the Beatport Top 100 without relying on hype. The original mix, in E Minor at 133 BPM, delivers solid peak-time techno suitable for late-night or early-morning sets. Released via Drumcode, the track stands out for its functional approach rather than spectacle. It integrates smoothly into extended sets, maintaining a consistent energy without overplaying its hand. The mix remains straightforward, with a clear focus on groove and drive. No dramatic build-ups or breakdowns interrupt the flow. A reliable tool for DJs looking to maintain momentum. Its minimal dynamics make it a steady, if unspectacular, element in any extended techno set. The track's strength lies in its consistency, not in variation.
