Editorial review
Marie Vaunt, AREA ØNE and CERES deliver a functional peak-time tool with "Lights and Acid" that lives up to its title: driving kicks, squelching 303 lines, and an arrangement built for 3–4 AM slots. The Kurai Records release (Deezer Techno Top 100 #22) skips frills — pressure and recognition value rule here. Acid sequences cut through dense percussion, breakdowns stay brief, the drop is predictable but effective. A tool track in the best sense: predictable enough for mixing, aggressive enough for the floor. Works in harder techno sets as well as a contrast element in deeper hours.
