Baby Audio has revealed the multi-effect plug-in HyperWarp. The tool breaks audio signals into microsampled grains and reassembles them in real time.

New multi-effect plug-in revealed

With HyperWarp, developer Baby Audio is introducing fresh software for effect processing. The tool is designed for time manipulation, breaking audio signals down into microsampled grains and rebuilding them in real time. It unites granular signal processing with a graphical time sequencer.

Features and profiles

Users can select from seven distinct profiles, including Clean Warp, Flange Warp, and Lo-Fizzly. These options add stutter, glitch, and additional effects. Furthermore, the plug-in includes 190 presets contributed by sound designers and producers.

Compatibility

The software runs on Mac and Windows and is compatible with major DAWs. In January, the company previously issued Tekno v1.1, an updated drum synth that includes an integrated 32-step sequencer alongside an iOS app version featuring AUv3 support.
