The Denon DJ SC6000 Prime is a standalone media player that works without a laptop and runs on the Engine OS operating system. Denon DJ announced it together with the SC6000M Prime. Here are its features and technical specifications according to the manufacturer.
Overview
At its centre is a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen with gesture control. It is joined by an 8.5-inch metal jog wheel with its own centre display, eight performance pads for hot cues, loops, rolls and slices, and an internal bay for a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive. The SC6000 Prime supports dual layer: it plays two tracks at once and has separate analogue and digital outputs for each layer – two decks in one unit.

SC6000 and SC6000M: the difference
Both models share the screen, connections and software. The SC6000M Prime adds a motorised 8.5-inch platter with torque adjustment, a removable vinyl top with quick-release lock and a switch to turn the motor on and off. Who is the SC6000 Prime for?
