Dirtywave MX Performance Mixer introduced
Dirtywave has announced a new device: the Dirtywave MX Performance Mixer. The transition and FX unit is inspired by DJ mixers and brings sampler functions into a compact format.
Features at a glance
The MX features three audio in and out connections, two MIDI in and out connections, a USB host port, a USB power input for charging, and a headphone output. An integrated sampler is also included.
The device runs the FORS engine on a Game Boy Advance – combining portable computer music with DJ-oriented performance. The looper function supports up to 24 seconds of stereo looping.
Dirtywave also announced that the M8 Tracker is now available on the App Store, along with firmware updates for the flagship M8. The MX builds on the already well-known M8 series, extending it with DJ-oriented transition and FX possibilities.
