HAAi returns with the album DIGITiSE on Mute. Serving as the follow-up to HUMANiSE, the record focuses on dancefloor energy and collaborations.
HAAi has released a new album titled DIGITiSE on the label Mute. The release serves as the follow-up to her long-player HUMANiSE, which was characterized by an intimate mood, ambient elements, and personal vocals. HAAi herself refers to the new project as the “bigger, ravey sibling”.
From Introspection to the Dancefloor
While the previous record looked inward, this current collection turns directly toward the dancefloor. The arrangement shows familiar traits: the album opens with the extended intro RE-HUMANiSE and features various experimental interludes throughout. Musically, the work operates within the realms of Electronic, Techno, and Experimental.
Spotlight on Collaborations
Collaborations with other artists form a core part of DIGITiSE:
- Ignition: A production made with Echonomist, shaped by uplifting breaks.
- Talking Walls: A track alongside Skybreak and Cantoalegre featuring darker, bass-heavy notes.
The tracks merge swirling, computerized textures with elements of human connection, exploring the space between digitalism and reality in search of authenticity.
