Hard Techno 2026 has many faces: Charlotte de Witte brings her audiovisual show “The Resistance” to the Rock Werchter stage in July for some 40,000 people, and Dax J delves into human history for his new EP. Charlotte de Witte: Portuguese-Brazilian Heat on “Amor”

“Amor” will be released on KNTXT at the end of April, an EP with three tracks: “Amor,” “Sem Ar,” and “O Movimento.” Brazilian singer, DJ, and producer CERES sings in Portuguese on all three tracks. The vinyl edition adds an instrumental version of the final track “O Movimento.”

De Witte herself explains the idea behind it with her love for Portugal and Brazil, for the country, people, food, and culture – “Made with lots of amor,” as she puts it.

“The Resistance”: Club Anthem for a Good Cause

In September, “The Resistance” follows, named after her new audiovisual show, which she tours throughout the summer. The title track is created with Theo Nasa, “See Through The Lies” with XSALT, and on “Another Place,” you hear de Witte’s own voice. The idea for this piece goes back over a decade and originated in Brussels, together with One Track Brain.

About the title track, she says she has never teased a track as often as this one. Dax J: Myth in the “Sphinx EP”

Dax J will release the “Sphinx EP” on July 3, 2026, on his own label Monnom Black. Four tracks: “Empyrean,” “Sphinx,” “Baghdad,” and “Sentinel.” The magazine UNMIXED calls the EP the metaphysical chapter in Dax J’s Monnom Black universe – partly hypnotic, partly darkly brooding.
