Hercules presents the DJControl T10, a motorized DJ controller featuring two 10-inch metal platters and real vinyl discs.
Hercules has introduced the DJControl T10, a motorized DJ controller combining two 10-inch metal platters with real vinyl discs. The manufacturer specifies turntablists, scratch and battle performers, and back-to-back DJ pairings as its intended audience. It weighs 7.3 kilograms and measures 95 x 35.3 x 9.5 centimeters.
Drive, Fader, and Features
Both platters are belt-driven by brushless motors. Hercules specifies a starting torque of 0.16 Nm and a startup time under 100 milliseconds. The platters use reversible 10-inch vinyl records along with slipmats and slipsheets supplied by Dr. Suzuki. Surrounding the platters are LED rings with customizable colors and brightness.
Crossfading is handled by the contactless InduXfader, certified by Innofader. Parameters including fader weight, curve, direction, and cut lag can be configured directly from the front panel. Performance controls also include 16 RGB pads and FX paddles.
Connectivity and Software
The integrated audio interface runs at 44.1 kHz and 24-bit. Output options include two XLR and two RCA connectors for the master, plus two 6.35 mm jacks for the booth. Two USB-C ports enable simultaneous connection to two computers. The second port also routes the master audio directly to smartphones or streaming computers. For emergency power, the controller can run on a USB-C PD charger with at least 48 watts.
The unit features Stem Slip, developed with Serato, to apply slip mode to individual stems. Software licenses for Serato DJ Pro with Pitch ’n Time DJ and DJUCED PRO are included.
