Hercules DJControl T10 introduced

· re:union Radio editorial · 1 min read

Hercules presents the DJControl T10, a motorized DJ controller featuring a pair of 10-inch metal platters and authentic vinyl discs.

The new DJControl T10 from Hercules is a motor-driven DJ deck equipped with a pair of 10-inch metal platters and authentic vinyl records. Weighing 7.3 kg, the hardware is designed for turntablism, battle and scratch DJs as well as back-to-back performances.

Motorized platters and vinyl

The two metal platters are belt-driven by a brushless motor. Hercules specifies a starting torque of 0.16 Nm and a startup time under 100 milliseconds. Dual-sided 10-inch vinyl discs rest on Dr. Suzuki felt slipmats and slipsheets. One side is designed for scratching, the other for mixing. LED rings around the platters display states such as play or remaining slip release time.

Hardware and fader

The crossfader is the contactless InduXfader, certified in performance by Innofader. Parameters such as fader weight, curve, direction, and cut lag can be adjusted on the front panel. The controller features 16 RGB performance pads, FX paddles, and audio outputs via XLR, RCA, and 6.35 mm jacks.

Connectivity and Stem Slip

Two USB-C ports allow two computers to be connected simultaneously. The second port can route the master signal directly to a smartphone or streaming computer. Developed in collaboration with Serato, the Stem Slip feature applies slip mode to individual stems. Licenses for Serato DJ Pro with Pitch ’n Time DJ and DJUCED PRO are included.
