With “In Clubland: 35 Summers of Love”, photographer Marc McNulty documents over 30 years of club culture across 550 pictures.
British photographer Marc McNulty captures over three decades of nightlife culture in his book In Clubland: 35 Summers of Love. The publication brings together around 550 photographs taken between 1990 and 2023 in clubs, at parties, and at festivals.

Featured visuals include images from the following venues and artists:
- Tresor in Berlin
- The Hacienda in Manchester
- Cream and Back II Basics in London
- Daft Punk
- The Chemical Brothers
According to the announcement, the focus is not only on music, but also on fashion and the people who shaped the respective scenes. McNulty was already capturing live shows and parties through his lens during the 1980s. Later, his work appeared in magazines such as The Face and i-D.
Contents and editions
Alongside 190 pages of visual material, the book contains the photographer's personal memories of the depicted locations and encounters. In Clubland: 35 Summers of Love will be released on November 5 via Modern Sky. The hardcover edition is limited to 100 copies including an exclusive print, while the first softcover run consists of 303 copies. Both versions are available for pre-order.
