MOTU dévoile l'OctaLite, une interface audio compacte et extension ADAT équipée de huit préamplis dans le châssis de l'UltraLite mk5.
Manufacturer MOTU has introduced the OctaLite audio interface. The unit shares the chassis dimensions of the UltraLite mk5 and provides eight preamps for mobile recording and studio setups.
Features and connectivity
The MOTU OctaLite functions as a 16×12 USB-C interface supporting recording up to 24-bit and 192 kHz on macOS, Windows, and iOS. It can operate as a standalone audio interface or connect via optical ports as an ADAT expander for the UltraLite mk5.
- Eight digitally controlled preamps with Hi-Z inputs for guitars
- Two front-panel XLR combo inputs
- OLED display showing channel metering and session configurations
- Rear connectivity featuring two TRS outputs and optical I/O (ADAT, SMUX, and S/PDIF)
Control and rack mounting
Users can manage gain, monitoring, and routing settings through the CueMix 5 software, designed for desktop and touch environments. For rack setups, an optional half-rack mounting kit allows installing a single unit, while a coupler kit joins two devices side by side in a 1U space.
