New Music from Dave Robertson
UK DJ, producer, and Whistleblower Records boss Dave Robertson is releasing a new EP titled Simple under his Reset Robot moniker. The record arrives on October 16, 2026, via Last Night On Earth.
Style and Influences
Based in Portsmouth, Robertson draws inspiration from clubs such as fabric and Slinky, as well as DJs including Sasha, Digweed, and the Wiggle boys. His signature sound blends techno and house, ranging from minimal to heavier styles. Previous work has landed on labels such as Get Physical, Soma, and Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, alongside international performances.
The EP Tracklist
The release features two distinct tracks:
- Simple: The title track combines 80s-inspired analogue synthesizers, vocals, rising pads, and four-to-the-floor percussion.
- Break Me Down: The second track is driven by a gritty bassline with garage and bassline influences, layered with dynamic percussion, vocal samples, and glitched textures.
