The Roland TR-6S packs six legendary rhythm machines into a housing that fits in any laptop bag. Instead of choosing just one classic, Roland has recreated six drum modules – from the TR-808 to the rare CR-78 – and built a portable, battery-powered production instrument for the studio and stage.

Six Drum Modules, One Machine
At the core of the TR-6S are the recreated circuits of the TR-808, TR-909, TR-606, TR-707, CR-78, and TR-727. In addition, you get classic instrument sounds from bass drums to hi-hats to percussion, as well as FM synthesis and factory presets.
Sequencer with Depth
The six instrument tracks work with independent patterns. Sub-steps, flam, step-loop, motion recording, and probability allow for grooves that go beyond rigid grids. You can permanently save your own patterns and drum kits.
Built for On-the-Go
The TR-6S is significantly more compact than classic standalone grooveboxes and runs either on AA batteries or via USB bus power – a format specifically aimed at mobile use and quick setup outside the studio.
