Time Warp 2026 was a marathon: On March 21st, 19 hours of house and techno pulsed across five floors, played by 47 acts, at Mannheim's Maimarkthalle. According to police reports, up to 19,000 people flocked to the Maimarkt grounds – and for the first time, it was the only Time Warp of the year in Germany.

The Original in Long Format
Time Warp has been a part of Mannheim for over 30 years. In 2026, the organizers returned to the classic long-format edition: a continuous night and day, spread across five floors with the stage designs the event is known for.
What was new was the calendar. Because the brand is expanding into new countries and cities, from 2026 there will only be one Time Warp in Germany – in spring. The Autumn Edition in November was canceled. So, if you want to experience Mannheim, you have exactly one date a year.

Line-up: Veterans, New Generation, and Many B2Bs
The program spanned from Time Warp veterans to the younger scene. FAZEmag named Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Loco Dice, and Nina Kraviz as tried-and-true faces, alongside the new techno generation including Amelie Lens with acts like Kobosil and Somewhen.
Floor 1 featured Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Deborah De Luca, Kobosil, Sara Landry, and Reinier Zonneveld, among others. Floor 2 brought together Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Nina Kraviz, Joseph Capriati, Jayda G, and Honey Dijon pres. Sinister. On Floor 3, Anetha, Mall Grab, Somewhen, KUKO, and X CLUB played.
The hallmark of this edition was the back-to-back sets. Floor 4 was almost entirely B2B: Ben Klock b2b MARRØN, Blawan b2b Freddy K, Marcel Dettmann b2b Gerd Janson, Adiel b2b Quest, and Ogazón b2b Ryan Elliott. On Floor 5, Jamie Jones met Loco Dice and Chris Stussy met Chloé Caillet, plus Max Dean b2b Luke Dean and Seth Troxler. Reinier Zonneveld and KUKO played live.

The police reported mixed results: 520 personal checks, more than 110 vehicle inspections, and 193 criminal charges, 166 of which were for violations of the Narcotics Act. Overall, the event proceeded peacefully according to the police, with only five resident complaints about noise disturbances.
Around the Event
Already on the eve, March 20th, there was an official pre-party: BLOND:ISH played at Das Zimmer in Mannheim, with support from Merissa Mahilaa. Also new was the “Blue Pass Next” – a ticket exclusively for ravers aged 18 to 19. The ticket also served as a travel pass in the VRN area; rnv lines 5 and 6, as well as bus 50, go to the Maimarkt grounds.
