Val

Val (Vjack Schema) is a vinyl-only DJ, originally from Moldova and raised in Romania. He learned piano, flute and a little violin as a child, but his real education happened on the dancefloor – his ear was shaped at Studio Martin, Sunrise parties and Sunwaves. After more than 17 years of collecting records and six years in Shanghai, with gigs across China, Romania and Barcelona, he builds groove-heavy journeys through techno, dubby minimal and house: deep hypnotic rhythms, dubby pressure and playful, unexpected turns. No sync buttons, no shortcuts – just crates, turntables and a trained ear. On re:union Radio you can hear him every Wednesday from 22:00 to 24:00 (Berlin time).
