If you were hoping for a big Awakenings summer festival in 2026, you'll have to wait. Instead, the brand is concentrating its energy into one October week: Awakenings ADE 2026 runs from October 21 to 25 at the SugarFactory in Amsterdam, right in the middle of Amsterdam Dance Event week.

Five Nights at the SugarFactory
Instead of a single festival day, Awakenings spreads its ADE 2026 program across five evenings. It kicks off with the Opening Night on October 21, followed by a Drumcode night on October 22. On October 23, Metamorfosi and the Friday Sessions run in parallel. October 24 brings Joris Voorn and Adriatique. The finale on October 25 features the Sunday Sessions and Prophecy. According to Awakenings, Metamorfosi, Sunday Sessions, and Prophecy are already sold out.
No Summer Festival in 2026 — Next Edition Is 2027
If you're looking for the big open-air Awakenings festival, you won't find one in 2026. The official Awakenings website lists the next flagship event as the festival from July 9–11, 2027 in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands. In the meantime, the brand stays active through smaller formats — including the ADE week in Amsterdam and other dates like Awakenings Exo in Bogotá this December 2026.
ADE Has Been Part of the Awakenings Calendar for Years
The link between Awakenings and Amsterdam Dance Event isn't new: Awakenings has been throwing its own parties during ADE since 2012. The brand goes back much further — the first Awakenings party took place on March 30, 1997 at the Gashouder in Amsterdam's Westerpark, organized by Rocco Veenboer through Monumental Productions BV. Since 2008, the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven has also been a regular venue for the series.
