The Denon DJ SC6000M Prime is the motorized standalone media player in the Prime series, aimed at DJs who want to combine vinyl-like handling with the capabilities of a modern digital deck. Instead of a jog wheel, you'll find a real, driven platter beneath the touchscreen.

A Platter That Really Spins
The core of the SC6000M Prime is its 8.5-inch motorized aluminum platter. The manufacturer describes the concept itself as: “adjustable torque, high-resolution 8.5" motorized platter featuring ergonomic inset design.” The torque setting allows you to choose the resistance between light and heavy – depending on whether you're scratching or mixing traditionally. The SC6000M Prime operates completely standalone, including Wi-Fi and wired internet access. This allows you to stream directly from Beatport LINK, Beatsource LINK, SoundCloud GO+, and TIDAL, or alternatively from your own Dropbox cloud. For local media, there's a 2.5-inch SATA bay, an SD card slot, and USB ports (front and rear). The device can also be integrated as a controller via USB-Type-B.
