The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 lets you split a finished track into vocals, drums and instruments live – no preparation needed. According to MusicRadar, the 4-channel controller for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro replaces the DDJ-1000 and DDJ-1000SRT as the flagship. For techno DJs that means pulling the hi-hats, leaving only the kick, or moving a vocal to another deck.

Stems at your fingertips: what defines the FLX10
The heart of the unit is its STEMS toolset. ACTIVE PART mutes vocals, drums or inst, while PART ISO adjusts their volume individually. Pioneer DJ groups all remaining instruments under "inst", including bass and synths.
FX PART SELECT applies Beat FX or Sound Color FX only to the parts you choose – an echo on the vocal alone, for example. PART INSTANT DOUBLES copies a part to another deck for further manipulation while it is muted on the original deck. The multicoloured jog ring, according to the manufacturer the first on a Pioneer DJ controller, shows you which part is playing.
MusicRadar notes that isolated parts can sound grainy or slightly distorted at times, while the drums generally hold up. Those are exactly what you need for long techno blends.
Jog displays, Mix Point Link and lighting
The on-jog displays offer 4 modes: deck info with the overall waveform, zoomed waveforms for 2 decks, artwork, or your own logo. 3-band waveforms are available with rekordbox only.
Mix Point Link connects mix points in two tracks so the next song kicks in automatically at the set position. According to MusicRadar, the feature is not available in Serato. Through the DMX output, rekordbox drives connected lights to match the music – colour and brightness follow the track.

Who the DDJ-FLX10 is for
The manufacturer's specs point to a clear profile: you play with rekordbox or Serato and want to rebuild tracks live rather than just blend them. The Beat FX section follows the DJM series and adds the new "Stretch" effect, and MusicRadar also highlights the new Sound Color FX "Space" and "Crush".

Does the DDJ-FLX10 have Bluetooth?
No. Pioneer DJ lists USB-C as the connection to your computer; neither the manufacturer nor MusicRadar mentions Bluetooth.
Does the DDJ-FLX10 work with Serato DJ Pro?
Yes, plug-and-play at no extra cost. Mix Point Link and the 3-band waveforms on the jog displays, however, are rekordbox-only.
Can I control lights with the DDJ-FLX10?
