JEK

JEK is the musical signature of Giovanni Giacco, an electronic music artist from Napoli. Inspired early on by Frankie Knuckles, Carl Cox, Claudio Coccoluto and Little Louie Vega, he has played clubs across Italy and Colombia, always in close dialogue with the energy of the dancefloor. His sets move through techno, deep house and progressive with hypnotic, slowly evolving rhythms and subtle melodic touches – groove, atmosphere and the journey come before the spotlight. He has shared the stage with artists such as Jonas Saalbach, Hollt, Rafael Cerato, Guzy and Spada. JEK runs his own event brand Mindoff, curates a monthly radio show on Saturo Sounds and is part of the Pete Tong DJ Academy community.
