DJ and producer Cloudy has introduced ANGELS, a new FLINTA*-focused party series that recently debuted in Amsterdam.
New event series promoting diversity
Cologne-based DJ and producer Cloudy has launched ANGELS, a new event series focused on FLINTA*. Based on a press release, the concept draws directly from her personal background in electronic music culture and seeks to establish a more inclusive, diverse, and supportive club environment.
The gatherings are scheduled to take place across multiple cities and feature both emerging and established FLINTA* artists. Clear house policies are set for the nights, including a strict ban on recording videos and taking photos. In an Instagram announcement, the event team stated:
- “Everyone who shares these values is welcome.”
- “We ask all guests to respect each other's boundaries and the community we're bringing together.”
First edition held at Amsterdam Dance Event
The inaugural gathering took place on 25 October at THE LOFT in Amsterdam as part of the Amsterdam Dance Event. Cloudy performed alongside SPFDJ, Kim Swim, Laure Croft, and Aiden. Details regarding future dates will be announced shortly.
The rollout of ANGELS follows the release of Cloudy's EP GIRLS 001 earlier this month, a record exploring themes of female empowerment and self-expression.
