Fractal sound structures without beats
The release contains 17 tracks spanning over 90 minutes. Musically, the work incorporates fractal patterns using synthesizer clusters and largely avoids standard rhythmic structures. While advance notices frequently applied the ambient label, the material also includes fast moments exceeding 150 bpm and sharp sound designs.
- Tracks such as “Trancient” and “Nokik Messiah” highlight prominent synthesizers.
- “Strings Of Death” and “Ginger & Miyake” feature edgy structures.
- “Crowdpleaser”, the chirping “Barroque”, and the fast-paced “Terrace Continuum” mark further sections.
- The composition “Serotonin Bliss Blues” concludes the collection.
Following releases such as the 2009 track “Sunshine”, the album Fin, and DJ-Kicks (2013 and 2014), alongside subsequent global touring, this sonic concept took shape during the travel-free period of the coronavirus pandemic.
