Loopmasters has launched the Loopcloud 8 platform. The update introduces tools for idea generation, new effects, and an expanded library.
Loopmasters has introduced the latest edition of its sample subscription and production platform under the name Loopcloud 8.
Overview of features and sound additions
Among the key additions are the tools Inspire and Listen. A press release describes them as intelligent tools designed for generating ideas and harmonic matching. Additionally, the advanced search function accepts descriptive phrases instead of relying on tags.
The software also brings several updates for music production:
- The Flip preset library has doubled to 2,000 presets
- A MIDI collection containing over 125,000 files, including approximately 8,000 drum patterns
- Five newly added effects: Gator, Looper, Utility, Chorus, and Bitcrush
For mobile devices, Loopmasters announced that the platform's first iOS app will arrive in November.
Regarding the focus of the release, Loopmasters CEO Matt Pelling stated: “Loopcloud 8 is built to help producers finish ideas faster, whether they’re searching in their own words, starting with Inspire, or using Listen to find the last sound a track needs.” He also added: “This is the most complete version of Loopcloud we’ve released to date.”
