Mia Koden presents her new EP 'Decode Vol.2' on Ilian Tape. The four-track release builds on the sound of previous works.
New release on Ilian Tape
Producer and DJ Mia Koden has issued a new EP titled Decode Vol.2 on Ilian Tape. The release contains four tracks and connects stylistically with her 2023 debut on the label, which also featured four tracks centered around deep dubstep and breaks.
Previous releases
Prior to this record, Koden dropped the surprise EP Bittersweet in March. That project drew inspiration from roots reggae songs by The Visionaires, specifically African Princess and To Have A Home, sourced from a Jahlovemusik soundsystem session used as samples.
In 2025, the former Sicaria Sound member contributed to the 15-track compilation sub-alchemy, issued on CCL's label subglow, alongside artists including upsammy, LUXE, Sister Zo, Cousin, Roza Terenzi, and Beatrice M. The year 2025 also marked the arrival of her EP Keep it steppin'.
