New Four-Track EP Announced
Token Records has announced the release of Flux by Kr!z. The four-track EP explores minimalism, focusing on rhythms and dissonant melodies. It is scheduled for release on November 27, 2026.
Structure of the Tracklist
The record is split into two sides:
- Flux: The title track opens the A-side with a scattered arpeggio sequence over driving drums, applying vintage production methods to modern dancefloors.
- End to the Means: Concludes the A-side and is crafted entirely from drums. Set in chamber reverb without any synthesizers, it functions on its own or layered across a four-deck mix.
- Undertow: Begins the B-side with a denser harmonic framework, using crunchy plucks and prominent percussion aimed at peak-time sets.
- Rain: Closes the release on a more introspective note, pairing a light melody with firmer drum machine programming suited for the latter stages of a set.
