PRINTHOUSE launches in a former printing plant in Munich-Moosach. Booker Christoph Pankowski explains the venue's concept.

On October 17, PRINTHOUSE opens in Munich-Moosach within a former tz printing plant. The initiative was started by Henrik Szilit, who brought in Robert Benke. Benke then invited Christoph Pankowski to take on creative direction. Pankowski collaborates with Lucas Brell on booking.

Structure and Rooms

The three organizers divide responsibilities: Szilit develops the location and curates formats, Benke manages operations and gastronomy, while Pankowski oversees programming, booking, lighting, and sound design. Pankowski states: "We are setting up the house as if it were to stay."

Musically, the club features different styles across two spaces:

  • Techno is played in the main hall on a Void Incubus system, with lighting design by Bachstelzen from Berlin.
  • House is played in the Kantine.

Mobile phones are prohibited on the dance floor.

Program and Dates

The musical lineup for the already sold-out opening on October 17 is provided by Budino, Euphrat, Isabel Soto, The Lady Machine, and Zenker Brothers. The Kantine opens on October 31 with Alinka, Euphrat, Marie Montexier, Massimiliano Pagliara, and Virginia. On November 14, Kinzua, .VRIL live, and Recondite live are scheduled.

Subsequent dates feature Adi, Vladimir Ivkovic, BLANKA, Gabrielle Kwarteng, INOX TRAXX, Altinbas, Cecilia Tosh, Glaskin, MARRØN, JakoJako, Toxido Mask, Quelza, Efdemin, and GiGi FM.
