Lors de l'Amsterdam Dance Event, la police a reçu des dizaines de plaintes. Des voleurs ont dérobé des bijoux et attaqué des fêtards au gaz lacrymogène.
During the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), local police received dozens of reports concerning jewelry thefts accompanied by pepper spray attacks.
Incidents across multiple venues
The offenses took place in a series of clubs. On October 24, during a set by Franky Rizardo at Gashouder, the sound had to be temporarily turned down while attendees were searched as they left the premises. Nabil Farah, an ADE visitor from Canada, described a similar situation at an event with Adriatique at the SugarFactory: after a gold chain was ripped from his neck, pepper spray was deployed directly into his face as he looked for the culprit.
Comparable incidents also occurred at several other locations:
- RAW-Factory
- Ziggo Dome
- Kromhouthal
According to reports, 15 individuals sought treatment at a first-aid station, and no one sustained serious injuries. For the ongoing investigation, police plan to request surveillance camera footage. No arrests have been made so far.
