Awakenings 2026 turned Hilvarenbeek into a temporary techno city from July 10–12 — sold out, with more than 150 acts across the stages. One look at the timetable tells you how the festival ticks: the big names play late, the harder edges get their own areas, and on Sunday night the main stage belongs to Charlotte de Witte.

Three Nights, Three Closing Sets on Area V
Area V is the main stage with the large, multi-layered stage production. Friday saw the official timetable curve consistently upward: I Hate Models from 20:30, then DJ Gigola and Funk Tribu back-to-back, closing with Amelie Lens from 23:30 to 01:00.
Saturday kicked off with Joris Voorn and Kevin de Vries back-to-back, followed by Joseph Capriati, with Adam Beyer taking the closing slot. Sunday saw Boris Brejcha and Adriatique back-to-back, then Richie Hawtin handed over to Charlotte de Witte, who closed the festival on the main stage from 21:00 to 23:00. Area X and Area Y: Warehouse Feel and High Velocity
If you like it darker, you ended up in Area X. EDM House Network describes it as the counterpoint to the sunny open-air stages, with the vibe of a sweaty warehouse club. The lineup matched: DJ Rush and Speedy J on Friday; Rødhåd, Len Faki, FJAAK, and Dax J on Saturday; Sunday brought Nina Kraviz, Freddy K, Ben Klock, and a closing set from Chlär with Yanamaste.
Area Y catered to the fast, hard side. Saturday stacked Indira Paganotto, Nico Moreno, Fatima Hajji, Azyr, and DYEN; Sunday brought 999999999 followed by Cynthia Spiering with Reinier Zonneveld.
Forest, House, and Back-to-Backs
Area A returned to the forest — after last year's new site plan, a favorite for many, with a canopy of light and lasers. Besides that, Awakenings leaned heavily into back-to-back formats: East End Dubs with Vintage Culture, Mahmut Orhan with Shimza, Max Dean with Prospa, or MCR-T with Partiboi69.
House had its fixed place. Marco Carola closed Area B on Sunday, Kettama on Saturday, Gordo on Friday. Over on Area C, Stephan Bodzin played live on Saturday from 23:00 to 01:00.
Camping, Pools, and After-Hours
For campers, a dedicated after-hours program ran on Area N after the stages closed; daytime offered space for sports, recovery, beach areas, and swimming spots.
