Before Nina Kraviz became one of the most recognized figures in international techno, she was sitting in a dentist's office in Moscow. This turn of events is one of the stories that have accompanied her career to this day – and it explains a lot about the idiosyncratic attitude with which she has since made and released music.

From Irkutsk to Moscow
Nina Kraviz grew up in Irkutsk, Siberia. In Moscow, she first completed her training as a dentist before dedicating herself to music full-time.
The Leap to Rekids Label
Her international breakthrough came in 2012 with her debut album, released on the Rekids label. Kraviz never covered just one genre: her sets and productions move between techno, tech house, minimal, electronica, and acid house, often with a raw, unpolished edge that clearly distinguishes itself from slickly produced club sound.
трип – Her Own Label
In 2014, she founded her own label трип (Trip). This label work has since been an integral part of her career alongside DJ sets and her own productions.
Beyond the Club
Kraviz's influence extends beyond club nights. In 2015, she contributed the 48th installment of the renowned DJ-Kicks mix series. In 2020, she provided music for the video game „Cyberpunk 2077“, and in 2023, she collaborated with Jean-Michel Jarre.
